Information we handle

DigRoster publishes business names, business locations or service areas, services, contact details and source links from public information and authorized listing owners. These profiles are public. Unclaimed listings do not mean a business has joined or endorsed DigRoster.

When you create an account, we collect your name, email and a password hash rather than your plaintext password. We also store verification records, account sessions and security information such as session IP addresses. Ownership requests include your role, contact information and evidence. Support requests include your email and the message you submit.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the directory, verify account and listing ownership, process support requests, prevent abuse, manage subscriptions and send account or service messages. Search suggestions use location data served by DigRoster. You do not need an account to search.

Payments and service providers

Stripe handles payment information on its hosted checkout and billing pages. DigRoster stores billing identifiers and subscription status, not full card numbers. Our hosting and database providers process site and account data. Resend is our configured email-delivery provider when email service is activated. Contractors’ own websites have their own privacy practices.

Cookies and security

We use necessary account cookies to keep you signed in and protect your session. Account passwords are hashed. We restrict account, ownership evidence and support records to authorized access. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit sensitive identity documents, passwords or payment details through support messages.

Retention and requests

We keep account, claim and support records while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet recordkeeping obligations. Some records may need to remain after account closure. You can request access, correction or deletion through our contact form; we may verify your identity before acting. Removing an account does not automatically cancel a Stripe subscription—cancel it in your billing portal or request billing help.
